How it works
New system? Here's the whole year, step by step.
The New Bachaloria is new for everyone. This is how a year on GoBachaloria goes, from the first choice to the weekly live.
- 1
Choose your year
1st or 2nd Bachaloria. Everything after this depends on it, so it comes first.
- 2
See your main subjects
The subjects everyone in your year sits. No choices to make here: in 2nd Bachaloria they are Arabic, English and History.
- 3
Choose your track
From 2nd Bachaloria you pick one of four tracks. It decides which specialised subjects you can take.
- 4
Pick your track subject
Each track has two subjects and you study one of them. The choice is yours: Chemistry or Programming & AI on the Engineering track, for example.
- 5
Test the teachers
Every teacher on your subject has a free intro course. Watch them all before you decide. No code, no card.
- 6
Choose your teacher
Lock the one that clicks. You can change your mind until you unlock the subject with a code; after that, they are your teacher for the term.
- 7
Join the weekly live
Every week your teacher takes the hardest questions live. Send yours ahead of time and hear them answered on air.
- 8
Some subjects are on-site too
Some teachers also teach in person at a centre. If yours does, your on-site subscription shows here with its dates, next to the online course.
That's the whole system
Eight choices. Then it's just studying.

Track subject · Programming & AI
A brand-new subject. Who do you start with?
Programming & AI is new to every school and every teacher this year. Nobody has taught it before. Except in one place.

Eng. Ahmed Tarek
AI Product Manager · Engineer · Educator
The problem
New subject, new curriculum, no track record. Students and parents can't tell who actually knows how to teach it.
The answer
For three years Eng. Ahmed Tarek taught Python and AI on the Digital Egypt Initiative with Udacity. That programme is the closest thing to the Bachaloria's Programming & AI curriculum that has ever existed.
A software engineer who has taught programming to more than three thousand students across four countries, built learning platforms used by tens of thousands, and now leads AI products from Dubai. He teaches the way he learned: build something small every week.
