Terms
GoBachaloria terms of use
This is the agreement between you and GoBachaloria. By creating an account or using the platform, you — and your parent or guardian if you are under 21 — agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. Please read them together. If the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic one applies.
Age and your parent
- If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to you using the platform; we ask for their name, relation and phone before you start.
- The age of majority under the Egyptian Civil Code is 21. So any purchase or payment by someone under 21 is made with their parent's or guardian's approval, and the parent or guardian is responsible for it.
Your account
- An account is for one person only, and you are responsible for everything done with it.
- Give accurate details for yourself and your parent, and do not create more than one account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile page.
Prices, payment and codes
- Prices are in Egyptian pounds and shown before you pay. Online payments go through a licensed payment company (Paymob), and a receipt appears in «My orders».
- Lessons and materials are unlocked with codes or cards. A code opens what it says, for the period it covers; it is for one account and cannot be moved to another once redeemed.
- Nothing in these terms reduces your rights under Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018. All refund rules are on the refund policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not share your account or password with anyone.
- Do not record, screen-capture, download, publish or resell videos or live sessions.
- Do not sell or distribute notes, exams or any other platform content.
- Respect teachers and classmates in lives, comments and support, and do not send anyone else's pictures or data without their permission.
- Do not try to hack or disrupt the platform or enter an account that isn't yours — that is also a crime under the Anti-Cyber and Information Technology Crimes Law No. 175 of 2018.
Content and intellectual property
Lessons, videos, notes and exams belong to the teachers and GoBachaloria and are protected by the Intellectual Property Protection Law No. 82 of 2002. You get a personal right to study them for yourself while your access lasts — not to own or copy them.
What you send us
- Your questions, voice notes, pictures and videos sent to support are used only to help you. Voice, pictures and video are deleted 14 days after the question is closed.
- Voice, pictures and video in support are for subscribers; writing is open to everyone.
Live sessions, attendance and the parent report
- Teachers set live-session times, and a time may change — we will tell you beforehand.
- Attendance is taken with the code the teacher says during the live; your record is visible to you, your teacher and the office.
- Turning on your camera and microphone in a live session is optional.
- Your parent may receive a report on your attendance and progress on their phone.
Availability and our responsibility
- We do everything we can to keep the platform running, but it may pause for maintenance or for causes outside our control (such as internet or power cuts). If a long outage affects what you paid for, contact us and we will make it up with extra time or another fair remedy.
- We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here excuses us from liability for fraud or gross fault on our part.
Suspension
- If someone breaks these terms — for example by sharing an account or publishing videos — we tell them why and hear their side; we may then warn them or suspend the account, and close it for a serious or repeated breach.
- For serious breaches such as publishing content or selling an account, codes already redeemed are not refunded — without affecting any right you have under the law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will tell you inside the platform at least a week before a significant change; continuing to use it afterwards means you accept it. What you paid for before a change stays as you bought it for its period.
Complaints and law
- If you have a complaint, contact us first by email or WhatsApp; we reply within a working day and try to settle it amicably.
- You may also complain to the Consumer Protection Agency (hotline 19588), or to the Personal Data Protection Centre about anything concerning your data.
- These terms are governed by Egyptian law, and the competent Egyptian courts decide any dispute.
