The short answer
On the Business track, you choose one specialised subject in the second year: Accounting or Business Administration. Both are out of 100 and count towards the 600 total with the same weight, so by the rules neither is "better for the total". The difference is which one you will do better in.
Important: neither carries on into the third year
In the third year, the Business track's subjects are advanced Economics and Maths. So your second-year choice affects 100 marks, not two years.
Choose Accounting if
- You like numbers and precision, and it satisfies you when the accounts balance.
- You are patient with entries, tables and detail.
- You are thinking of Commerce with an accounting major, or auditing.
Choose Business Administration if
- You are interested in people and decisions: how a company is organised and how it chooses.
- You are better at writing and analysing than calculating, and half the exam is essays.
- You are thinking of Business Administration, Marketing or entrepreneurship.
