What is Qureo?
Qureo is a Japanese programming platform the ministry has used since 2025/26 to teach Programming & AI in first secondary. You learn on it, solve exercises on it, and sit exams on it. In the first year the subject is outside the total, but you must pass it. Details are in the first-year curriculum.
Signing in
- Open the sign-in page: me-portal.qureo.education/login.
- Type the ID code and password your school gave you.
- Type them in English, and check your keyboard is not set to Arabic.
No code? Ask your subject teacher or the school office. It is not something you can find online.
The trial exam (December 2025)
It looked like this:
- 20 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes.
- 60% to pass.
- Open for 24 hours from 9 am.
- Works on any device: computer or phone.
The steps: press the TOFAS test icon, sign in, watch the instructions video to the end, press start and the timer begins, move between questions freely, then press finish. Do not close the window before pressing finish.
The practical exam (second term 2026)
It was held on Qureo over three days in May, each day for a group of governorates. The questions were:
- 10% recall
- 25% understanding
- 30% application
- 35% problem-solving
Tips before any Qureo exam
- Try signing in the day before, not on the day.
- A steady connection, and a charged phone or laptop.
- 35% is problem-solving: practise the exercises on the platform, don't just watch.
- Dates change every year, so follow what your school announces.
