A month-by-month plan for the second Bachaloria year

The second Bachaloria year holds 400 of the 600 marks, weekly assessments and two exam sittings. A month-by-month plan from September to the second sitting in July.

Why plan the whole year?

The second Bachaloria year holds 400 of the 600 marks, weekly and monthly assessments of which you must complete 60% to sit the exam, an exam in May and a second chance in July. This year cannot be rescued at the end. The weekly study plan is in another article; this is the plan for the year.

September: start right

  • Download the books for your four subjects from the official source. Where
  • Choose a teacher for each subject after trying them. How
  • Find out the student project topic in each subject. The project

October and November: the rhythm

  • Every week: that week's lesson, the weekly assessment and the homework.
  • Before each monthly assessment: two days of revision.
  • Write one essay answer in every subject each week. Why

December and January: end of the first term

  • Revise the whole first term.
  • Note your weak points in each subject.

February to April: the second term

  • The same weekly rhythm.
  • Every week, revise one unit from the first term. The exam covers the whole year.
  • Hand in the project before its deadline.

May: the first sitting

  • Give every subject your best. It is free and compulsory.
  • One subject at a time: focus on the next, not the one just finished.

June: the decision

  • Look at your marks. In which subject can you really improve?
  • Choose one or two subjects at most for the second sitting (200 EGP each). How to decide

July: the second sitting

  • Study what you got wrong, not the whole subject from scratch.
  • The best mark counts, so there is nothing to lose.

August: rest, then get ready for the third year

Rest, then start looking at the basics of the third-year subjects. Third-year subjects
